Today seemed like a perfect day for a different kind of outfit. I've been wearing a lot of color and prints lately, and so I decided to go with the kinda-gloomy weather and wear some lay-low colors. Although the colors are darker, they're still as comfortable to wear. Also, I wanted to just wear something chill and not having to worry if my skirt is long enough or if my sleeves were just right. With this outfit, you could go do all kinds of stuff. You can go to the mall or go to the library or if you just want to walk around in the park. It's perfect for those bipolar weathers-one we're having right now-because it's not too hot to wear, but at the same time it makes you feel cozy ( just in case it starts raining and it becomes too windy for a skirt/dress).

As I was looking at my old clothes in the province, I noticed this denim top (which im not sure of who's it was bahaha) and realized that's it's something that I could wear right now, and so I took it. I got it washed and voila! I've got a new denim top.

After much deliberation with myself, I finally decided to purchase an assymetrical skirt. I'm not sure yet whether it looks good on my figure or not (feedback please) because my hips are big, but I did try to make it work. I came up with this outfit because it's very flowy and very comfortable-which is perfect for the weather. The hair piece was just an add-on because this look looks a little hippy, no? :) I can definitely go to the mall or when I'm hanging out with friends with this outfit.

Sorry guys there weren't any good shots with my face in it :)) so i chose to post a picture of my outfit that shows the pattern of the dress i made and all the accessories i wore with it. That dress i'm wearing is a tube dress that i wore with a denim vest. It compliments the dress at the same time not over-powering the design of the dress.

I decided to keep my outfit chill because it seemed like a good day to just hang out with my family at the mall. :) This outfit is just right for a walk in the mall or a stroll in the park because the fabric is breezyyyy and the colors and pattern are appropriate for the Philippine weather.

so this is what i wore today :)

it's a simple sun dress that i wore with a denim jacket and my school shoes. 

(and yes, i checked,  it's long enough to be worn in school-but I think i really couldn't take the denim jacket off because i dont think spaghetti straps are allowed in the dress code)

i wore this 'cause there hasn't really been an opportunity to wear dresses lately due to the bad weather.. but now it's sunny again \:D/ plus i loved the pattern on the dress :))

this outfit is very easy to put together because it's a bunch of pieces that are a staple to most closets ;)

if you guys want to add a twist to this outfit and make it more edgier(or if you want some shade and protect your head from UV rays! :D) you may want to add another accessory like a hat.. :)

i'm not sure where my mom bought the hat, but i'm pretty sure it was at a tiangge somewhere :))
