04.08.2012Easter Beach Bummin'

As a tradition in my family, we go swimming in the beach for Easter/Sabado Gloria. Since there's still no school tomorrow, we decided to extend our stay in the province for some extra swimming time (and to be the heat, too!) I guess today was the day everyone was heading back to the city, and so there were barely any people at the beach. It was like we owned the place! hahaha. It was also nice because we went during sunset, so it wasn't so hot (no sunburns for me!) and the waves were niiiiiice, perfect for me. Though I also like the beach with still waters, I prefer if there are waves. I like jumping/swimming through them. It was fun fun fun \:D/

Good Friday Procession

Today, for the very first time, I joined the Good Friday Procession. It's when the people go around the town holding lit candles to mourn for the death of Jesus(at least that's what I think it is for). After so many years of watching people just pass by our house, I finally FINALLY tried to join this procession. It was tiring, yes, but compared to what Jesus did for us, I would think this was nothing. It was cool though, we were able to pass by places I haven't been to before, and I was able to know more about our little provincial town even more than I did before. :)

Visita Iglesia

Today we did Visita Iglesia, which is when you go to towns and visit their churches. You're supposed to visit AT LEAST 7 churches, but we were only able to visit 3 :( hahaha. it was so hot (and it was lunch time, too) so we decided to go back to out house in the province to cool off and eat. :)
