Okay so I've been MIA lately because it's been a really busy time... or maybe i'm just lazy these days? nah i know it's a really busy time haha There are a lot of projects (and I'm so thankful that in mosy of them, my friends are my groupmates) , I'm doing most of the household chores, for many reasons, org stuff that I'm responsible for doing, aaaaand I'm helping my dad do the packing and moving and furniture hunting for our new house :") It did sound exciting because I am an aspiring interior designer, but it's quite tiring and it's all happening at the wrong time, although I am very thankful that I finally get my own room. I haven't shopped in a while either, not that I'm complaining. I kinda don't have time for it right now -_- but come Christmas time I'll try to update my closet :") 

I've been listening to some old school alternative-pop music lately because I'm sorta reminiscing (or maybe because I just prefer the music from before orrrrr the songs these days are getting too generic with techno beats and stuff and gradually not making sense :)) ) I will try to post more often. I need motivation! Who wants to give me some? :))

09.12.2012 Poppy Love

Poppy love. get it? -cause my outfit is all floral inspired hahaha. Oh man, that was very lame, Trish :)) 

So the weather isn't doing so well again for the past few days, and I don't know what it is with me and grabbing the opportunity to wear a skirt on weekends. Maybe it's because most of my skirts and dresses are too short for school, which is why I can only wear them on weekends or when I'm not going out for school, otherwise, I'd be in pants. 

It was just a very chill day today. The only thing that annoys me about this outfit is that my skirt wasn't ironed (because we were rushing for church this morning-sleeping in because of the cool weather is not an excuse to miss mass!) aaaand because at the waist area, my skirt has, for some reason, developed horizontal lines that make it look like that my stomach is bursting out of it. In reality though, it's a really loose skirt. 

A lot has happened throughout the past week. The first day of school for the second term this academic year, my first HOW meeting, a photoshoot for the re-opening of our clothing store Trends & Thrifts, etc. I am looking forward to a lot of things this term and I hope everything will be okay. Quick post everyone, and I can't make this too long. 

It's almost finals and there are projects here and there, and the professors are catching up on the things they haven't taught yet. There are classes on Holidays and alternative classes on weekends -_- it's quite frustrating, but then again there's nothing I can do about it. Also, I never thought there were so many yearbook requirements and processes, but maybe because I crammed it hihi. To all those who are having exams soon (may it be midterms or finals), goodluck to all of us! :) I won't be posting as often as I'd like to in the coming weekends, but I'll be back very soon.

After many days of rain, the sun finally came out. Although it still rained a little in the morning, it was a nice and sunny throughout the whole day, and since we were running out of food and the talipapa near us was barely selling anything, my mom decided to go grocery shopping. As my mom and sister went grocery shopping, I went to Carolina's and other accessory making shops in the mall. I was looking through DIY blogs yesterday and got inspired by how sort of easy it is to make your own accessories without spending too much. You get to save and be unique at the same time :) I can't wait to start making them. If you guys know any nice places where I can buy materials, please let me know because the mall I went to only has so much to offer with regards to materials. I shall explore Divisoria soon! hihi 

I wore a floral dress to celebrate the warmth and dryness of the weather. It may sound weird, but I missed this kind of weather. Not knowing if it was still going to rain within the day, I wore a jacket just to be sure.

I hope everyone is okay now and let's keep praying for those who lost their homes, and although my family and I are in good condition already, a lot of people living in Manila aren't yet. There are also still some floods in the area. If you guys get the chance, donate and help out as much as you can :)
